Waste oil disposal; information pursuant to section 8(1) of the German Waste Oil Ordinance (AltölV)
As a retailer, we would like to inform you, in accordance with the German Waste Oil Ordinance (AltölV), about the relevant rules and obligations in connection with the sale of internal combustion engine oil or transmission oil. We therefore point out that waste oil and the oil-containing waste regularly generated during oil changes may constitute hazardous goods and must be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
You may return waste oil free of charge at our point of sale during opening hours in a quantity corresponding to the fresh oil purchased from us, together with the oil-containing waste regularly generated during oil changes, or send it to us at your own expense for free disposal in packaging approved for the transport of hazardous goods.
As waste oil may constitute hazardous goods, special shipping regulations apply and must be observed.
