0W-20 C5 performance oil for modern PSA vehicles with B71 2010, LSPI protection and a strong focus on efficiency.
0W-20 Performance for PSA was developed for current Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and other PSA-related vehicles that explicitly require PSA B71 2010. The product combines a modern 0W-20 viscosity with ACEA C5 and API SP, making it clearly suited to the latest engine generations focused on efficiency, LSPI protection and particulate filter compatibility.
Especially in downsized turbocharged engines, calibration for low-speed pre-ignition is crucial. This oil therefore goes beyond pure fuel economy optimization and also addresses specific risks of modern gasoline engine designs.
For suitable PSA applications, this product is a targeted solution rather than just any 0W-20.
Suitable for modern PSA vehicles with gasoline or diesel engines requiring PSA B71 2010. Particularly relevant for current engines with DPF, OPF/GPF, turbocharging and a strong efficiency focus.
Why is LSPI protection so important for 0W-20 Performance for PSA?
Because modern turbocharged gasoline engines can be sensitive to unwanted pre-ignition at low engine speeds.
Is this oil only intended for PSA vehicles?
Primarily yes. The core of the product is its PSA B71 2010 focus with matching C5/SP characteristics.
Can I use it instead of a 5W-30?
Only if the manufacturer explicitly specifies it. This oil is technically tailored to 0W-20 applications.
