5W-40 C3 performance oil for BMW, Mercedes, Opel and VW with DPF protection, turbo suitability and strong 5W-40 reserve.
5W-40 Performance SAPS was developed for modern European passenger cars that require a low-SAPS C3 oil while also demanding the stronger viscosity profile of a 5W-40. It is aimed at applications where DPF protection, turbo compatibility, and robust temperature reserves must work together.
With approval directions such as GM dexos2, VW 511.00, Renault RN0700/RN0710 and other European profiles, this oil is broadly positioned while remaining technically focused: modern exhaust aftertreatment plus a high-performance 5W-40 reserve.
For suitable vehicles, it is an interesting alternative to thinner 5W-30 concepts when the manufacturer explicitly requires a 5W-40 C3 profile.
Suitable for modern gasoline and diesel engines with DPF and turbo where ACEA C3, GM dexos2, VW 511.00 or comparable European manufacturer specifications with SAE 5W-40 are required.
When is 5W-40 Performance SAPS preferable to 5W-30?
When the vehicle explicitly requires 5W-40 or the application needs a stronger viscosity reserve while maintaining C3 filter protection.
Is this a classic A3/B4 5W-40?
No. The core of this product is a modern low-SAPS C3 formulation for vehicles with exhaust aftertreatment systems.
Which vehicles is this oil intended for?
For many modern European passenger cars with DPF and turbo, provided the listed approvals match exactly.
