80W-90 LS hypoid gear oil for heavily loaded axle drives with limited slip and strong reserve for demanding applications.
80W-90 / SAE 90 LS is a hypoid gear oil for heavily loaded axle drives that also require limited-slip performance. The product was developed for trucks, buses, construction and agricultural machinery with and without limited-slip differentials, with a clear focus on high load capacity and robust durability.
The additive package provides strong wear protection and high pressure resistance, which is especially important for hypoid gear sets and locked differentials. The oil shows its strengths particularly under severe operating conditions.
For axles with clutch-type limited-slip differentials or similar heavy-duty applications, this profile is an excellent fit.
Suitable for heavily loaded hypoid axle drives with and without limited-slip differentials where API GL-5/GL-5 LS, MIL-L-2105D or ZF TE-ML 05C/08/12C/16E/21C are required.
What is the advantage of LS in a hypoid axle oil?
The correct friction characteristics for clutch-type limited-slip differentials.
Is this oil intended for manual transmissions?
No, it is clearly focused on heavily loaded axle drives.
When is 80W-90 LS preferable to 75W-90 LS?
Especially when OEM requirements or operating conditions call for a higher viscosity level.

All types of containers should preferably be stored under cover. If stored outdoors without shelter, containers should be kept horizontal to prevent water ingress and preserve label readability. Products should not be stored at temperatures above 60 °C and must be protected from direct sunlight and frost.
