ATF CVT for modern continuously variable transmissions with optimized friction characteristics and reliable protection for variator and chain.
ATF CVT has been specially developed for modern continuously variable transmissions. Unlike conventional torque converter automatics or dual-clutch transmissions, a CVT requires a very specific friction and shear stability profile to ensure proper operation of the variator, belt, or chain.
This product is precisely tailored to those requirements. It is intended for vehicles with CVT transmissions that require appropriate OEM fill specifications such as Honda HMMF/HCF-2, MB 236.20, VW TL 52180 or similar.
ATF CVT is therefore not a universal ATF variant, but a dedicated solution for continuously variable transmissions.
Suitable for modern CVT transmissions where OEM fill specifications such as BMW CVT EZL 799A, Mazda JWS 3320, MB 236.20, VW G 052 180 or other CVT specifications listed in the profile are required.
Can I use a regular ATF instead of CVT fluid?
No, CVT transmissions require a technically different fluid with specific friction characteristics.
Is ATF CVT suitable for DCT/DSG?
No, dedicated dual-clutch fluids are required for those transmissions.
Why is OEM approval especially important for CVT?
Because continuously variable transmissions are highly sensitive to the exact fluid characteristics.
