HLP ISO VG 68 hydraulic oil for more heavily loaded or warmer hydraulic systems with higher viscosity reserve.
HLP ISO VG 68 is designed for hydraulic systems that require a higher viscosity level than HLP 32 or HLP 46. It is suitable for applications with increased lubrication film demand, higher operating temperatures, or specific OEM requirements.
Despite its higher viscosity, the oil remains firmly within the classic HLP profile, offering anti-wear, corrosion protection, and cleaning performance. This makes it a reliable choice for robust industrial and machinery hydraulics.
For systems that need greater oil film strength, HLP 68 is often the better option.
Suitable for hydraulic systems and related lubrication points where DIN 51524 Part 1/2, ISO 11158 HM, or an ISO VG 68 grade is required.
When is ISO VG 68 more suitable than ISO VG 46?
When the system or its temperature/load profile requires higher viscosity.
Is HLP 68 suitable for all hydraulic systems?
No, the viscosity grade must always match the system requirements.
Why is the correct viscosity so important for hydraulic oil?
Because it directly affects efficiency, lubrication film, leakage behavior, and response speed.

All types of containers should ideally be stored under cover. If stored outdoors without protection, containers should be kept horizontal to prevent water ingress and preserve label readability. Products should not be stored at temperatures above 60 °C and must be protected from direct sunlight and frost.
